What fashionista doesn't like eye shadow? This craft is pretty easy, but it can take a little bit of time. But you'll be glad you made it!
You will need:
*4-6 paints (It's better if they all are similar colors or have a "theme"
*Scissors
*Thin, white cardboard/card stock or cardboard from cereal boxes painted
*Q-tip
*Plastic from packaging
*Toothpicks (not pictured)
*Scotch tape (not pictured)
*Hot glue/glue gun
Here is some real eye shadow for reference.
1) Cut your cardboard into a small rectangle. I am not giving exact measurements, be cause all eye shadow palates are not the same size.
5) Paint your different colors of paint onto the big section like so. It doesn't have to be perfect, because It'll look like it's been used. Let dry.
6) Cut your Q-tip to fit inside the small section.
7) Dab a little bit of paint onto the Q-tip.
8) Cut a piece of plastic that fits over the rectangle with a little extra. Bend the end like so.
9) Fit the plastic piece on and glue the bended section to the back with tape, but leave a space, so that the plastic isn't on the cardboard, just the tape.
10) Use a small piece of tape to keep it closed, so that you can open and close it.
Done!
So cute!
Will your fashionista want you to make some eye shadow?

PS- **Remember to NEVER put real eye shadow on your doll's eyes!**

(It's sideways)
2) Cut a toothpick to fit the length of your rectangle. Glue in place.
3) Repeat for all the other sides.
It will look something like this.
Note: You can paint the toothpicks before you glue them on if you like.
4) Cut and glue a piece of toothpick the fit inside the rectangle like shown. At the bottom, place your Q-tip there and glue the toothpick a little bit above that. Take the Q-tip off. This is optional, but I glued a piece of cardboard in the other rectangle to add height in that section.
5) Paint your different colors of paint onto the big section like so. It doesn't have to be perfect, because It'll look like it's been used. Let dry.
