12 D.O.N. #8- DIY Stocking!

How cute is this stocking?!? It isn't really that hard to make, and it actually looks like you sewed it!

You Will Need:
*Felt
*Fabric
*Ribbon
*Pom-poms (optional)
*Scissors
*Another small stocking to trace, or draw or print your own template

These are the stockings i'm using to trace.

1) Trace and cut out two stocking templates from the felt. This will be the front and back of the stocking.
NOTE: If you want your stocking to be thinner than the template you're using, trace close to the edge, for the same width, trace leaving an inch or so extra.

2) With right sides together, glue the two together. Flip it right-side out.

WOW! It looks like a sewed it!

3) Trace the front of the stocking on the fabric and cut out. Glue to the front of the stocking.
4) Make some of the ribbon into a bow and glue it onto the stocking. I glued the ends down so that they would stay put.

5) If you like, glue pom-poms to the ends of the ribbon.

6) Cut out a small piece of ribbon and glue the ends together.

7) Glue the ends to the side of the stocking at the top, on the side that would be the "heel" of the sock.

Done!

I think this is one of the best things I've made!

Don't forget to hang it!

Hope you enjoyed!
