DIY Living Room- Sprucing Up the Arm Chair

Do you have a doll chair that is very ugly? Well, today is your lucky day! I am going to teach you a very simple way to make a slip cover for your chair or couch! This is part of me making a doll living room, so there will be more tutorials like these coming soon.

I am using:
*Doll chair (found at store on vacation for $6!)
*Fabric to cover it with
*Felt for pillows
*Scissors
*Hot glue gun/hot glue

First, I laid out my fabric over the chair. Cut off the excess leaving a little bit.

I glued the edges to the bottom of the chair. My chair had rockers, but I just covered those.

Here is the finished chair!

For the pillow, I cut out two rectangles from the felt the same size.

I glued the sides together, but leaving one open.

I used a pencil to help me stuff the pink fabric into it.

Then I glued it entirely shut.

Here it is entirely complete!

Easy peasy wasn't it? Your dolls will love their new chair!

I thought I'd put a picture of Petunia in here as well, since I haven't posted much about her. More pics will be on my G+ soon.
