2 Easy St. Patrick's Day Crafts

Sorry this is sort of late, but better now than never. Today I am going to show you how to make a leprechaun belt collar for your doll's pet and a glittery shamrock hairpin.

You will need for both:
*Black foam
*Yellow gold foam
*Green foam
*Scissors
*Paintbrush
*Mod Podge
*Glitter (preferably gold or green)
*Pen or pencil
*Your doll's pet
*Bobby pin (not shown)
*Tiny shamrock template (not shown)
*Stretch cord (not shown)
*Scrap paper (not shown)
*Hot glue gun/hot glue (not shown)

For the collar:
 1) Measure a piece of thin black foam around the pet's neck, leaving space in the back like so.

2) Cut out a small rectangle out of the yellow gold foam.

3) Cut out the center. It doesn't have to be perfect because it is so tiny.

4) Glue it on to the middle of the black band.

5) Glue a piece of stretch cord to the band like so. Make sure to put a lot of glue on so that it doesn't come off.
Done!

For the hairpin:
1) Resize the shamrock template from the shamrock cookie craft. Mine is about the size of penny. Or you can draw your own.
2) Cut it out.

3) Cover one side in Mod Podge.

4) Cover it in glitter.

5) After it's dry, cover in another layer of Mod Podge.
6) Once that is dry, cover the other side in Mod Podge too.

It should now look like this.

7) Cut a small rectangle from the green foam.
8) Glue it onto the back of the shamrock.

9) Put a piece of paper in the bobby pin so you don't glue it shut.

10. Glue it on.
Done!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
