Mini Break

Hello! Unfortunately, since last weekend was Easter, and we are going away this weekend, we won't be able to plan or post any posts. We might be ready next Saturday, but we hope sooner.
Thanks,

Quick Craft- Bunny Ears and Tails

Today I am going to show you two easy crafts just in time for Easter!

You will need:
*White felt
*Soft pink fabric or felt
*White pipe cleaner
*White Pom-pom
*Scissors
*Pencil
*Hot glue gun/hot glue
*Bobby pins
*Tape

1) Draw a bunny ear shape on the felt.

2) Cut it out.

3) Use that to trace it for another ear. Cut that one out.

4) Glue smaller bunny ear shapes on made out of the pink fabric.

5) Bend the pipe cleaner around your doll's head, curling the ends around her ears. Cut off the extra.

6) Glue the ears onto the pipe cleaner. Add support with some wrapped pipe cleaner at the base of the ear.

Done!
To put it on, just attach bobby pins at the ends of the pipe cleaner and slide through her hair.

1) For the bunny tail, simply tape it to the back of your doll's shirt!

Elizabeth Wears No. 13- Vintage Easter

Today I decided to try on this Easter dress, which would be perfect if you lived in the 70s or 80s. To make it feel more authentic, I added pig tails. Don't I look like a little girl wanting to play barefoot after Easter Mass?

Outfit Name: Vintage Easter
Day worn: Sunday
Tip: Don't be afraid to wear vintage! If someone thinks it's ugly, they don't usually say it out loud.

Craft- Bunny Clutch

This little clutch is perfect for Easter Sunday! It can hold all of her necessities when she goes to the Easter party and egg hunt!

You will need:
*White felt
*Black felt
*Soft pink fabric
*Velcro
*Scrap paper
*Scissors
*Ruler
*Pencil
*Hot glue gun/hot glue

1) With the scrap paper, cut out a rectangle that has a width of 2 11/16 inches and a length of 4 1/2 inches.
2) Use the paper to cut out a felt rectangle.

3) Mark where 3 5/15 inches is up from the bottom of the rectangle.
4) Fold up the bottom up to that point and glue the sides closed so that it makes a pocket.

5) Round off the top.

6) Mark where you want the Velcro to be. Make sure that when you fold the top down the mark lines up with the mark on the pocket part.

7) Glue the Velcro on.

8) Cut out two small black felt circles, a pink oval nose, and a black felt mouth shape.
9) Glue the nose to the top of the mouth shape.

10) Glue the face onto the back of the flap like so.

11) Cut out two bunny ears out of the white felt.

12) Glue smaller versions of the ears made out of the pink fabric to the white ears.

13) Glue the ears to the back of the purse like so.

14) Cut out a long strip of felt.

15. Glue it to the corner like so, making sure it can slip on and off your doll's wrist easily.
Done!
